National Education Nature Park
At St Vincent's we are truly blessed with our grounds. They offer our pupils a vast, lush green landscape that offers a calming, nature-rich environment specially designed to support sensory exploration and outdoor learning.
Led by the Natural History Museum, Learning through Landscapes, the Royal Horticultural Society, and funded by the Department for Education, we use this initiative to help us to transform and further develop our outdoor space into a rich learning environment. We have already achieved so much with our outdoor spaces and still have lots of exciting future plans to make it even better! Watch this (outdoor) space!

We truly feel that our school grounds offer our pupils an environment to understand nature conservation and stand up for protecting green spaces both within urban and rural settings. Many of our pupils feel the importance of 'speaking' out to protect nature.
We use our outdoor environment to support and strengthen our broad and balanced curriculum. It also creates community links through our projects such as 'Community Compost' which was part of the Young Green Briton Challenge 2025. A project we have won 4 years in a row! We also offer a 'Little Free Greenhouse' where we give away our extra plants so they don't go to waste.
Take a look at our project on our Extra Curricular Page and our Wow Wall Page.

We are extremely thankful to our dedicated site staff who help our pupils look after such beautiful grounds and gardens.
Thank you very much Mr Bishop, Mr Fletcher, Mr Norbury and Mr Arslan.
We also have lots of exciting future plans!

In March 2025 we held a 'Community Seed Sow'. We were a little worried when we had such a dry Spring but thankfully we had some rain and the fruits of our labour now blooms all around our grounds. Take a walk around our Wildmeadow and experience the butterflies, the smells and the feels of such wonderful, abundant nature.
We are extremely proud of our involvement with the 'Tatton Park Flower Show'. We entered show gardens from 2019-2023. Lots of our pupils still have fond memories of building these gardens and all we loved all the work we completed in school to get them ready.
Take a look at this Youtube clip which explains 'What is the National Education Nature Park?' and why we feel it is so important to our pupils to have an impact on the future.
