Spiritual, Moral and Cultural Education

St Vincent’s School for Sensory Impairment is committed to providing a rich Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) education that supports every pupils personal development. We nurture spirituality by encouraging reflection, respect for different beliefs, and an appreciation of the world around us. Moral education is developed through promoting values such as honesty, kindness, and responsibility, helping pupils understand right from wrong and make positive choices, these a lived out though our school mission statement.

Social development is a key focus, with opportunities for pupils to build confidence, communication skills, and meaningful relationships within a supportive and inclusive community. Cultural education is enriched through celebrating diversity, exploring different traditions, and fostering respect for all backgrounds and experiences. Together, these elements prepare our students to become thoughtful, respectful, and active members of society.

Mr Green continues to create a rounded approach to this area of school with PSHE, RSHE and British Values, alongside our faith, being a core thread to this area of school.
