At St Vincent’s, assessment is an integral part of teaching and learning, ensuring that every pupil with visual and sensory impairments is recognised, valued, and supported to achieve their full potential. Through the use of iTrack, our online assessment tool, we are able to monitor, record, and analyse progress across the curriculum with accuracy and consistency. This allows us to identify next steps in learning, tailor support, and ensure that all pupils can make sustained progress, no matter their starting point. Assessments are adapted to meet the individual needs of pupils, with a strong emphasis on accessibility, equity, and inclusivity.
