St Vincent’s School is non-maintained independent residential school for children and young people with sensory impairments and other needs. School offers both day and residential provision for pupils aged 4-19 years on a weekly term-time basis.
We provide a safe environment in which high standards of education and care are provided.
Pupils enjoy full access to the National Curriculum, The Curriculum Framework for Children and Young People with Vision Impairment and an extended, enriched curriculum, ensuring all specific needs are met.
Pupils are taught in small class groups by Qualified Teachers of the Visually Impaired (QTVIs) and are supported by experienced and qualified Learning Support Assistants.
Mobility and Habilitation Officers provide individually tailored, mobility and orientation sessions to all pupils on weekly basis.
