St. Patrick's Day
On Tuesday 17th March Mr McSorley treated us to a St. Patrick's Celebration. We proudly celebrated together as a community. We all embraced the sprit of the day with Irish signing, dancing, learning about St Patrick himself and Irish crisps! We explored the meaning behind St Patrick and how he is remembered for sharing Christianity with Ireland, teaching others and helping to spread his beliefs, which remain an important part of Irelands history and culture. This celebration also supported the promotion of British values in school by learning about different cultures, developing mutual respect and an appreciation of diversity in Liverpool. We would like to thank all of our lovely visitors & Mr McSorley for making our day special and a big thank you to Cody's nan for the cakes!
