Design Technology

This subject is offered to pupils across Key Stage 3 and at Post 16 level, via BTEC courses.

This is a practical course that concentrates on the Design and Make component of the subject. The depth of work is dependent upon the ability of the individual. We currently work within National Curriculum levels 1- 4, P Levels and Entry Level BTEC “Producing a Product.”

Emphasis is placed on practical involvement,
although a degree of planning and recording is necessary. We try to relate to the pupils' understanding of everyday objects and experiences.
