Care Provision
Promoting partnership and specialist service for the additional needs of our pupils.
We have a dedicated multi professional team
of Care Staff working in close collaboration
with Teachers, Health Care Co-ordinator,
Parents and through the services of our
Family Liaison Officer we have excellent
links with LEAs, Connexions and Social Services.
Each of the House Groups provides a modern
environment that is homely, friendly and
welcoming. All pupils have their own individual
bedrooms, many with en-suite facilities,
where pupils are encouraged to grow and
develop to their full potential.
All pupils have an individual care plan, with
personalised targets. These are agreed between
the pupils and their key workers to ensure
planned and achievable outcomes.
In the Care setting we encourage extra curricular activities with a wide variety of choices for everyone. Each evening the pupils have a homework period after which they are free to avail themselves of an extensive range of activities, such as Youth Clubs in school and in partnership with Greenbank Project and other outside clubs. A wide range of activities from swimming, horse riding, sailing and drama are currently available, along with ‘group night in’ watching a video and eating pizza is also proving to be a popular choice with older pupils.
