During the Autumn term the Primary Pupils have really enjoyed and learnt from all the activities undertaken whilst completing their John Muir Awards.
We have discovered and explored the ‘Great Outdoors’ in our school grounds, at the National Wildflower Centre, Court Hey Park and Everton Park.
We have helped conservation by maintaining the willow features, picking up litter, and by making bird boxes.
We all enjoyed ‘camping out’ in a tent in the school grounds on a sunny afternoon, and pretending to go to sleep in the sleeping bag!
We also had great fun shaking the willow tunnel so that it rained water drops all over everyone!
We would like to say a big Thank You to Anne Faulkner of ‘We’re in the wild’ project, for being a fabulous leader, and helping us all to achieve our awards.
